Elvebakk Bed & Breakfast

Our B&B is a small, charming and comfortable. 'Koselig' as they would say here. The Bed and Breakfast guest rooms are located on the top floor, and partly on the first floor, of our house.

We offer three charming bedrooms equipped with a washbasin and comfortable beds, a very spacious bathroom with a shower, and a separate toilet. There is also a guest room for sitting, reading, working with Wi-Fi, etc. Coffee and tea are available here throughout your stay. A well-prepared continental breakfast is also ready for you every morning in this same guest room.

Dinner is not automatically included, like breakfast, but can be arranged in advance. Hot meals are always arranged in consultation with the guest.

Grilling is possible at our small grilling area and does not need to be arranged in advance. We provide eco-friendly BBQs. However, you do need to bring your own food and drinks.

Our garden is freely accessible to our guests.

Parking is free on our own property.

You will find us between the E39 and the Storelva River, in the beautiful Breim Valley. Breim is nestled between the large Jostedals Glacier, Lake Breimsvatnet, and the Utvikfjell. Our house is located just outside the village of Reed, and we overlook the surrounding mountains, a part of the lake, and a part of the glacier. In the surrounding area, you will find breathtaking nature with mountains, valleys, waterfalls, rock formations, lakes, and small villages.

During the day, this offers numerous opportunities for a beautiful walk, a magnificent scenic drive, and there are certainly interesting sights to discover as well. We are very well willing to help you organize a tour you would like. 

Important to know is that our accommodation does not have an elevator. Therefore, climbing stairs is unavoidable. Additionally, the entire house is smoke-free and we cannot allow pets. We ourselves live on the first floor behind the 'private' door. You will not see us all the time, but we are available should it be necessary.
