General Terms and Conditions:
Booking: The number of people, prices, accommodation and other products and services to be provided by the hotel will be stated in the confirmation received by the guest after booking. For guests not travelling with their parents, we have an age limit of 18 years. The hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking if valid identification cannot be presented.
Validity of the price agreement: The agreed prices are binding on both parties, but the hotel reserves the right to adjust the prices due to changes in costs due to increased taxes and fees or other circumstances beyond the hotel's control.
Changes to bookings and cancellations: The cancellation policy that applies to your booking depends on the type of booking you have made. Always check the policy that applies to your booking, as stated in your booking confirmation.
Payment: Bookings are payable in full either before or upon check-in. Invoicing can be agreed in writing in advance after a credit check, in which case the hotel's payment terms are payment in full 14 days after departure. For guests requesting credit, the hotel must provide the VAT number and the name and address of the invoice recipient. All invoices from the hotel are subject to an invoice fee of currently NOK 75 per invoice. In the event of late payment, interest and fees will accrue until full payment is received in accordance with the "Act on Interest on Late Payments etc." Invoices can only be send to Norwegian businesses. Prepaid, non-refundable reservations cannot be changed or canceled and will be charged in full at the time of booking.
Check-in and check-out: Reserved hotel rooms are guaranteed to be ready for check-in from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival (local exceptions may apply). Check-out time is 10:30 AM on the day of departure.
Identification: Please note that for security reasons, all guests over 18 years of age must present valid identification. The hotel reserves the right to cancel your booking if you cannot provide valid identification.
Liability in case of damage: The guest, or the person who is guarantor of the room, is responsible for any damage to property resulting from the guest's negligent or irresponsible behavior. The hotel is a non-smoking hotel, and in case of violation of this rule, the hotel will charge compensation for additional cleaning of the room. This compensation is set at NOK 1500 and will be charged to the final bill of the guest indicated as responsible for the booking.
Force Majeur: Events beyond the control of the contracting parties - for example, strikes, lockouts, fire, non-delivery, restrictions from local or national authorities, etc. - that make it impossible to fulfill the obligations in this agreement, give the parties the right to terminate the agreement without liability for damages.
Jurisdiction: All disputes that may arise between the parties to this agreement (the guest and the hotel) shall be resolved in accordance with Norwegian law.
